What families in Wolverhampton need to know
- The school does not publish its test date. Its determined arrangements say only that arrangements will be announced by the governing body in the local press and on the school website during the spring term, and its admissions timeline is published as an image rather than as text. Contact the school for the date.
- It operates a near-miss band that no other school in the consortium publishes: candidates scoring within 2% of the last automatic place stay in contention, alongside Pupil Premium students who reach the qualifying score.
- The qualifying score is set in October, after the test, and is not published in advance.
- There are 180 places and no catchment or priority area. Distance is a tie-break only, and lots are drawn between addresses in the same block of flats.
- The 25 highest-scoring Pupil Premium candidates who meet the standard are offered places automatically, before the general merit list is applied.
