Key Stage 3 is where the gap between a Grade 6 and a Grade 9 is quietly decided. We build the algebra properly in Years 7 to 9, and go faster with students who are ready for it.

Common Questions
Do you tutor Year 7 maths?
Yes. Years 7, 8 and 9 are the core of this programme. Most students join us in Year 7 because the algebra introduced then is what every GCSE topic later depends on, and gaps left there are expensive to fix in Year 10.
My child is in Year 8 and falling behind. Is this the right track?
Yes. We start with a diagnostic to find exactly which Key Stage 3 topics are missing, then rebuild them in order. Acceleration is optional. Plenty of our Year 7 to 9 students are here to become genuinely secure rather than to race ahead.
Are lessons online, and does that work for this age group?
All lessons are online, one to one, and we teach students across the UK. For Years 7 to 9 it works well: sessions are shorter and more focused, work is set and tracked on the portal between lessons, and parents get a weekly progress note.
How fast do accelerated students actually go?
Some of our students sit GCSE Maths in Year 9 or 10 and A-Level Maths in Year 11, which leaves the sixth form free for Further Maths and entrance papers. That is the fast end and it is not the goal for everyone. We set the pace to the student, and going early is only worth it if the foundations underneath are solid.
Why think about Oxbridge in Year 7?
You do not have to. But the students who do best on entrance papers are usually the ones who have had years of practice at hard problems rather than a term of cramming. Starting early removes the panic later, whether or not Oxbridge is the eventual target.
Is this only for very able students?
It is for students who enjoy maths and want to be stretched. We do not think in terms of natural genius. Early exposure and steady practice explain far more of the difference than talent does.
Will they still do their school curriculum?
Yes, and most stay comfortably at the top of their school set. Students working ahead tend to find school lessons become revision rather than new material.
