Common Questions
Do you tutor Year 7 maths?
Yes. Years 7, 8 and 9 are the core of this programme. Most students join us in Year 7 because the algebra introduced then is what every GCSE topic later depends on, and gaps left there are expensive to fix in Year 10.
My child is in Year 8 and falling behind. Is this the right track?
Yes. We start with a diagnostic to find exactly which Key Stage 3 topics are missing, then rebuild them in order. Acceleration is optional - plenty of our Year 7 to 9 students are here to become genuinely secure rather than to race ahead.
Are lessons online, and does that work for this age group?
All lessons are online, one to one, and we teach students across the UK. For Years 7 to 9 it works well: sessions are shorter and more focused, work is set and tracked on the portal between lessons, and parents get a weekly progress note.
