Aayush was a GG Maths student before he was a GG Maths tutor. He learned the method as a student, and it is not long since he sat the exams his students are sitting. He has always been passionate about maths, and teaching is how he passes it on.

How we teach

Six of the rules Giuliano trains every tutor in. He teaches this way himself.

Questions, and time to think. Lots of questions, none of them yes or no, and pauses long enough for your child to work out the answer.
Slowly. Tutors speak slowly and calmly, and nothing is rushed. It's better that your child understands it the first time than hears it three times.
Simple words, whatever the level. Short explanations in plain language. Ten words, not a hundred.
One idea at a time. No detours. Your child learns what they need now and nothing more. The harder parts come later, once the foundation is solid.
Your child chooses how to start. When it isn't clear where to begin, the tutor asks: "Shall I teach you this one, shall we do it together, or do you want to try it on your own?"
Never "does that make sense?" Nearly every child says yes, whether they've understood or not. So a lesson ends with questions they can only answer if they have. For example: what does dy/dx = 0 mean? What about dy/dx > 0? What does a maximum point look like, and how do you find one?

What a week with a tutor looks like

The lesson. Sixty minutes, one to one and online, on whatever is costing marks right now.
The week in between. Your child photographs their working and uploads it to the portal. Their tutor marks it and writes back before the next lesson, and the next piece of homework is set on the topics losing marks.
What you see. A short note from the tutor after every lesson: what they covered, how it went, what is next. Giuliano reads the same notes.

Which of them teaches your child?

Giuliano decides that, and he tells you before you book anything. Lessons with a tutor are £55 an hour, or £60 for A-Level. Lessons with Giuliano, for students going for a grade 9, an A or an A*, are £85 an hour, or £95 for the entrance papers.
