The exam provider is changing for 2028 entry
Slough is moving from GL Assessment to Quest Assessments. The change applies from September 2028 entry onwards — children sitting the test in autumn 2026 still take the GL Assessment paper. If your child is currently in Year 4 or below, prepare for the new format.

- The qualifying score is 111.
- Consortium schools: Herschel Grammar, Langley Grammar, St Bernard's Catholic Grammar and Upton Court Grammar.
- Quest takes over from the test sat in September 2027, for September 2028 entry. Anyone currently in Year 4 should prepare for the Quest format, not GL.
