- St Olave's Grammar runs a Stage 1 Entrance Test, confusingly abbreviated SET, which is not the same as Sutton's Selective Eligibility Test. One hour, multiple choice, covering English, logic (verbal and non-verbal reasoning) and maths. Stage 2 follows on 13 November 2026. We have read every document the school publishes: it names the test only as the SET and identifies no provider anywhere.
- Newstead Wood School sets two multiple-choice papers, verbal reasoning then non-verbal reasoning. Its support-materials page points to GL Assessment’s free familiarisation resources, but the school never says GL writes its test. The only statement it makes is that results are ‘calculated, standardised and age-weighted by an independent external company’, which it does not name. A CEM guide also linked there is a legacy file for 2020 entry and should be ignored.
